Private sector representatives and officials from public sector involved in Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) negotiations between March 12th and 13th, 2010 met in Arusha, Tanzania for a regional workshop to discuss and fine tune private sector position papers in EPA negotiations. 

The meeting is organized by the East African Business Council with support from TradeCom Facility. The agreed position papers will then be submitted to EAC negotiating team as private sector positions on EPA.

The workshop is part of the cooperation between EABC and TradeCom Facility on a project aimed at improving EAC Private Sector Awareness on the EPA and Involvement in Trade Policy.
