Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) was established in July 1974. The KEBS Board of Directors is known as the National Standards Council (NSC). It is the policy-making body for supervising and controlling the administration and financial management of the Bureau. The Managing Director is the Chief Executive responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Bureau within the broad guidelines formulated by the NSC. The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) acts as a trade facilitator. KEBS provides trade facilitation services in Metrology, Standards, Testing and Quality Management (MSTQ) including the WTO/TBT National Enquiry Point, certification and accreditation. KEBS ensures that no technical barriers to trade are created while providing services in standardization and conformity assessment.

Kenya Association of Manufacturers is voice of industry and premier representative organization for manufacturing value-add industries and other related sectors in Kenya. Established in 1959 as a private sector body, Kenya Association of Manufacturers has over the years transformed itself into a dynamic, vibrant, credible and respected business association with a professional Secretariat. The Association provides an essential link for co-operation, dialogue and understanding with the Government by promoting trade and investment, upholding standards and representing members’ views and concerns to the relevant authorities.

Founded in 1944, KAHC is the principal umbrella organization bringing together hotels, lodges, membership clubs, prominent airline caterers, casinos, restaurant, pubs and entertainment whose common theme is to render services in the hospitality industry. The Association enjoys a huge membership of mostly star-rated hotels, restaurants, caterers, lodges, tented camps, residential cottages, and casinos.
